Controlling this disease is carried out as follows:

• All agricultural methods which prevent accumulation of water on leaves and high humidity rates reduce the spread of the disease.
• Removal of grass, proper pruning of infected branches, and collection and burial of dry leaves lowers the spread of the disease.
• Resistant items and spray of proper fungicides is considered one of the most successful methods to combat the disease.
